"Worship for 21st Century Kids Training Event (being run by St. Johns Church Southbourne in the Diocese of Chichester) Saturday, 27 September, 2.0-4.0pm at St. Johns Church, Southbourne. Tickets 7 per head from 01243 375576. Fun, Funky, Interactive and Inspiring a seminar for childrens workers led by Doug Horley Dougie Dug Dug .
This workshop is for all childrens workers (musicians & non-musicians) and looks at the culture kids are growing up in, the influences they are exposed to and how we can take note of these to ensure we stay relevant to our children in our praise and worship. Doug will talk about Journeying with Children to help them go deeper with God in prayer & worship and will share some stories of the kind of thing he has seen happen as children connect with God.

phones4schools ~ St. James Primary School is fundraising by collecting old mobile phones. They are working with this scheme that offers £500 when 200 phones are collected. If anyone is able to help there will be a silver covered box at the back of St. James’ Church for any contributions.
